About 3 years ago we went on our first camping trip as a family, and fell in love with it. It has given us the opportunities to create some fab family memories in places we have never visited before. In fact, our camping trip to Brittany was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Every year we also seem to have become more organised with our packing and what we take.
As you know I love a list, so this year, instead of just writing it on a piece of paper I created a printable version, and thought I would share it with you.
In my usual style, it is quite extensive, in fact it’s two and a half pages long! Now I know that sounds long, but bear with me. It covers everything from the big stuff, like tent and sleeping bags, to the small stuff like what kind of things we take to entertain the girls while we are away. There is also a section that lists what food we take with us as well as ‘To do’s’ before you go. We tested it out on our recent camping trip to Dorset, and I think we have pretty much covered everything you would need for a comfortable camping trip.
The sections covered on the checklist include:
- Tent
- Sleep
- Kitchen
- Living Area Stuff
- Laundry
- Beach & Bikes
- Entertainment
- Food & Drink
- Clothes & Shoes
- Toiletries
- Miscellaneous
- To Do
So if you are new to camping and want to know what to take, or even if you are a seasoned camper and don’t want to write up a list every time you are getting ready for your next trip, then this checklist is for you. To receive your free printable list enter your email below and it will appear in your inbox:
If you give this checklist a go I would love to hear how it went. Any feedback is greatly received.
