Welcome to my fourth monthly round up of my top 5 Instagram pictures. In these posts I share the 5 pictures that have received the most love in the past month. If you missed November’s you can find it here.
I have really enjoyed sharing our Christmas antics on Instagram this month. And I’ve most certainly enjoyed seeing everybody else’s. There have been some great hashtags to take part in too, like #myhouseindecember.
All my pictures to date have been taken on my iPhone 6S but for Christmas I got a new camera! It’s a Sony a5000 which is a DSLR. I know I’m very lucky and I’m looking forward to trying it out and sharing the pictures I take with you.
So to this months top 5:
In fifth place this month is this picture of frosty grass. I snapped this on the way back from the school run just around the corner from where I live. Everything was white with frost that day, it just needed snapping!
My fourth place picture is of some of our Christmas decorations. I found these string lights in the garage and just knew I had to add some extra Christmas sparkle in the house. I have loved the ambience these lights have given to our dining room.
In third place there is a tie! The first picture is of our new bed. I love this bed, a lot! Our old bed was over 16 years old and my hubby brought it when he moved into his batchelor pad before he met me. Now we have this sumptious joy.
The other picture in third place is this one of our Christmas cake in the making. Well it had been made but I was adding the marzipan layer, which is the hubby’s favourite bit.

A bit late but finally getting the marzipan on the Christmas cake. Hubby will want to take some to work on Boxing Day so I may end up icing it later or tomorrow. We are off swimming now, something we do every Christmas Eve, trying to wear the kids out, doesn't always work! Happy Christmas Eve everyone have a lovely excitable day!!
In second place its this little cherub that was lounging in our Christmas tree. We brought these little cute decorations when we had our first Christmas together in our new house, just the hubs and I. They must be about 14 years old now.
So to this months first place picture. I was looking for ideas about what to give the teachers at the girls school for Christmas and I came across a recipe for Slow Cooker Fudge. It is so easy to make and the girls could get really hands on making it. If you want to have a go at making it you can find it here on Pink Pear Bear’s blog.
So there you have it, my top 5 Instagram pictures for December. If you are already following me on Instagram, thank you. If you are not you can follow me here.
