Wow, doesn’t time fly when you are having fun! Six months ago today I posted my first blog post and started my Organised Jo journey. And what a journey it’s been.
These first six months have been a steep learning curve into the blogging world for me, but I have loved every minute of it. I have had to learn how to set up a website, as well as how to add my ramblings and photos. But now I have this little corner of the internet where I can share my ideas and hopefully help others to make their lives a bit easier.
Before I go any further I want to say a massive thank you to you for popping by and reading my ramblings. I had no idea if my ideas, tips and tricks would be of any interest to anyone except me, but you have kept coming back, leaving your comments, and saying I have inspired you to start a project to help makes things easier for you. I am still blown away by this, and it absolutely makes my day when I see the views and comments.
I also want to say thank you to all the wonderful bloggers who have offered all their tips and tricks and helped me along the way. From the fabulous Facebook groups to the linky hosts who I have really enjoyed linking up with and finding some truly great blogs to read. And to name but a few of these linky hosts (who work so hard to help us spread our words), thank you and please pop over to show them some love:
So now it’s time to reminisce. This is the post that started it all, and it was the one about organising the girls hair bands – you can read it here.
And seeing as it is my six month anniversary I thought I would do a count down of my top six most read posts too.
At no. 6 it’s Nailing The School Run – read it here.
In at no. 5 it’s the one all about our first camping trip of the year to Pentewan Sands in Cornwall. The post also included some tips and tricks on helping trips for smoothly – click here to read it.
At no. 4 it’s the one about how we use a storage bench – read all about it here.
The post at no. 3 is the one about how I admit I’m a basket case! See what I mean, and work out for yourself if I am, by reading it here.
And the post that takes the number 2 spot is the one about how I organise the girls toys – and you can catch it here.
And the post that takes the top spot is the one about how I organised the girls jewellery with some simple hooks – read all about it here.
So, what’s next for me and Organised Jo? Well, if it’s OK with you I think I will carry on showing you things that have helped me deal with the chaos that is my life being a working mum. And as we start the school summer hols I may even throw in some posts about our day trips and the fun we have before starting to think about how to get ready for the next school year.
If there is anything you would like to see me cover on the blog please leave me a comment below. I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again over the next six months.
Lets get organised
