Welcome to my top 5 Instagram pictures for May. The last few months of Instagram posts have been all about the planning of birthdays but this month it was actually full of them! It was lovely to start celebrating them and it gave me plenty of opportunities to take lots of pics. Some of which have made it into this months top 5.
If this is your first time here, every month I do a round up of my top 5 most liked Instagram photos. If you want to see others I also have round ups for April, March and February.
So let’s get into this months top 5.
We have two photos in fifth place this month and the first is this picture of our Keep Calm sign in our dinning area. It’s a constant remainder that Tea makes every thing better.
The other joint fifth place picture is this one of the cupcakes my husband ‘threw’ together for our youngests birthday. He got given the Hummingbird Bakery book as a birthday present a few years ago and regularly makes these cakes from it. They do go down rather well.
In fourth place is a picture of the girls following one of the many trails at the gorgeous Coleton Fishacre. I took this back in the Easter holidays but I felt it was a perfect picture to let people know about the May Half Term activities that were going on last week.
Now the picture in third place is a throwback pic but it was perfect to show off little ones actual birthday. She loves this dress, it is a perfect birthday party dress. I also love the way she is just skipping along care free, holding her most treasured possessions of the day, a balloon and a party bag.
The second place picture is of little one wearing her new flamingo M&S leggings while having a play in the park. Now she wasn’t up for her picture being taken on this particular day, her mood wasn’t the best. In fact right after I took this she kicked her sister!!
And now to the picture in first place, our new gallery wall. In April I was asked by Wayfair to create a wall of pictures. I could choose my own theme and use pictures from The Art Group. I have wanted to create a space like this for ages and this gave me the perfect opportunity to do it. We have had this up for over a month now and I still love it. I can’t wait to add more memories and watch it grow.
And there you have it, my top 5 Instagram pictures for May. If you want to see more like these you can find me on Instagram here.
Which one is your favourite?

Love this!!! Fab post and photos as always x
Thanks you Lynsey. X
Great pics as usual – I have finally started putting up pictures in our new home and have a wall ready for a gallery feature – it’s just what to put up!
Thanks Claire. I took forever working out what to put up on our gallery wall. But as soon as I had a theme I knew exactly what I was doing. X
I love your daughters leggings. She’s done a good job. Isabelle has her dads dress sense so would probably match the leggings with floral prints or stripes!!
I am rather jealous of them. I know what you mean about Dad’s dress sense, my other daughter reallly loves throwing everything on, clash and all. X
I’m not surprised your gallery was number 1, I loved it and have taken real inspiration from it. I’m going to have a go at doing a gallery wall up our new staircase. Just waiting for the 6 months snagging list to be done and it’s all mine! Thank you for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove
Defiantly do it, I am so happy with how ours turned out. Thanks for stopping by. X
This is such a great idea for a monthly round-up, maybe you should turn it into a monthly linky, I’d certainly join in! I’m loving your gallery wall, we really need to start putting things up on the walls in our house, they really do make it a home x

So you know what, I have seriously been thinking about setting up a linky for this! Watch this space!! X
Love the colours in your room and the sense of adventure some of the photos invoke. #SharingtheBlogLove
Thanks for your lovely comment Hannah. X
Ahh gorgeous photos!! I love all of them, but the one of your daughter with her birthday balloon is so sweet! Happy birthday gorgeous girl! Thank you for joining us at #sharingthebloglove
Thank you so much Laura for your lovely comment. The one of little one in her birthday dress is a favourite of mine too. X
I still need to visit Coleton Fishacre! I always love your photos they are so gentle and colourful. I wish y other half could throw together cakes like that and I love the South West focused picture wall, I am a Wayfair addict! I still want those leggings in adult size! Looking forwards to next months collection xx
Gorgeous pics! I love your Insta feed x
This is such a lovely post, my favourite is of your daughter on her birthday. x
I love a good gallery wall! And those pictures are gorgeous. We’ve recently moved so I’m very much seeking inspiration at the moment… 🙂
