Well hello there! Yes, I am still here and Organised Jo didn’t come to an abrupt end. The reason for my absence is that I have been a little busy with another aspect of my life, as I have been studying with Digital Mums. I am currently taking part in their 12 month Social Media Manager pilot course. This has me currently committing 7 to 10 hours a week. I started in November and will finish in November this year.
I am really enjoying the course and learning some great new skills. Naively I thought I could carry on with the blog as well as work, home life, kids and study. As you can see that didn’t work out! I am though hoping to still pop on and add the odd post here or there. We have a holiday to Kos in Greece coming up soon and I hope to share that trip with you when we get back. Also it’s the school holidays, and I would like to try and blog about that, just as a way to log the memories. I will also try and share what is going on around South Devon, if anyone else is interested.
Back to Digital Mums. As part of my training I have to set up a campaign, it can range from Eco, Community, wellbeing etc. I set up a community campaign, which is then run on three social media platforms – Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. I have called my campaign Family Time Torbay and it is a place where I share what a great place Torbay is for families and what’s events and activities are going on for everyone to enjoy. If you want to see what I have been up to please feel free to follow.
We have completed the Twitter element already, but if you wanted to see what I posted you can find me at @famtimetorbay
We are currently working on Instagram, and if you want to follow I can be found at @familytimetorbay.
I don’t have the Facebook page public yet but as soon as it is I will add here.
As I said, I hope to put some new blogs out when I can, but I can’t promise that I will be consistent until at least the Autumn.
Thank you for popping by, and please take some time to have a look around.
