I love my daily very large cup of coffee! I only drink one a day but oh my it is something I really look forward to. I also like to jazz my coffee up. This could be anything from adding some syrup or doing my best froth art with chocolate sprinkles. At Christmas time though we tend to go all out with our choices. So today I thought I would share with you what we keep next to our coffee machine and what makes up our Christmas coffee and hot chocolate station.
First things first, how do we make our coffee. Last year hubby and I asked for money for Christmas and we put it all towards a pretty decent coffee machine. The machine we have is a DeLonghi Magnifica Bean to Cup Espresso and Cappuccino Machine. It has a range of settings that means you can set your strength of coffee to what size of cup you want filling. It can also do a mean froth to top your coffee drink of choice. It also has a steamer which can either just warm up milk, which is great for when do the girls a hot chocolate, or create the froth for a cappuccino.
So what do we have in our coffee station?
Monin syrups – multi pack – This Christmas we have brought the multi pack but we normally have one or two of the larger bottles as well.
Retro Chocolate shaker with coco powder inside for the sprinkles.
Demerrara sugar in a little jar.
Mini marshmallows for the hot chocolate.
Coffee stencils – mind you I am still perfecting the perfect chocolate sprinkles snowflake.
Lotus Biscoff Caramelised Biscuits
Your favourite coffee cup – mine currently is the Mushroom Isabel Mug from Cath Kidston
A nice tray to organise them all in.
Jars to show off your favourite accompliments – ours are filled with the biscoff biscuits and marshmallows.
And there you have it. A Christmas coffee station all ready for you to make up some delicious festive drinks this Christmas. And for extra sparkle why not wrap some fairy lights around it too, we all need the extra sparkle at Christmas time!
What’s your favourite addition to your festive cuppa’s?
Jo
