Getting ready to go back to school can feel daunting. Making sure you have got enough uniform as well as everything else your child needs to get them through the day takes some planning.
Last year I wrote about how I make sure the girls are ready for going back to school and how I make a list on my phone. This year I have gone one step further and created a checklist that can be printed off. After trying this checklist out this year, and finding it really useful, I thought I would share it with you.
How I use the checklist
The checklist lists what uniform, PE kit and accessories you will need. First I checked the girls wardrobes and looked at what they already had. We had a try on session and if something was too small I placed a tick in the ‘need’ column. There is then space for you to write down how many of this item you need to buy and in what size.
When you have brought the items from your ‘need’ column you can then place a tick in the ‘purchased’ column. And when you have labelled them as well you can tick them off. Hopefully you will end up with a long line of ticks in the ‘labelled’ coloum and you are ready to roll.
As you know I have two girls, but I have created two checklists, one for girls and one for boys. There is also a place at the top for you to add your childs name so you know who’s list is who’s.
To get your FREE back to school checklist, subscribe below and both the girls and boys checklists will be sent direct to your inbox.
I hope you find these checklists useful and If you try these out let me know how you got on. Any feedback is gratefully received.
